Meet the Shadow Work facilitators in Fairfield, Iowa!
Linda Brooks
Linda is passionate about human growth and inner transformation. She has degrees in education and consciousness studies, and has practiced and taught Transcendental Meditation since the early 70's. As a management consultant and trainer she taught communication skills, conflict resolution, change management, and leadership skills to all levels of management. She is a certified Shadow Work group facilitator and coach, and is active in the Woman Within community.
Joe Mandarino
Joe is a statistician by training and works as a computer applications developer, specializing in data analysis and business intelligence tools and applications. While he has an interesting list of worldly accomplishments, little of his prior experience prepared him for Shadow Work. When he first experienced Shadow Work in 2005, he immediately recognized it as a pathway into a fascinating world of inner development. He then began training with Cliff Barry and is now a Certified Shadow Work coach and group facilitator.
Julie Mandarino
Julie's commitment to Shadow Work is an extension of her life-long pursuit to promote emotional healing and spiritual awakening, in both herself and others. A former college psychology professor who specialized in marriage and family dynamics, she currently offers counseling and workshops on relationship education. She also leads women’s circles dedicated to cultivating awareness of the Divine Feminine and runs women’s workshops on feminine archetypes. She is a certified Shadow Work coach and group facilitator.
Tom Miller
Tom is a certified Shadow Work coach and group facilitator. Inspired by Robert Bly, Marion Woodman, James Fowler, John Lee and most recently Cliff Barry, he has pursued self development and men's work since the early 90's. He has been priest and rector of the Liberal Catholic Church in Fairfield, Iowa, since 1987. As his day job, he is a consultant to medical device companies on software quality assurance.
Jim Brooks
Jim is a practicing psychiatrist, Ayurvedic doctor, and a practitioner of Classical Five Element Acupuncture, as well as being a certified Shadow Work coach and group facilitator. When he's not busy helping people or enjoying spending time with his four children, Jim can be found pursuing any one of his many passions. He is a keen ice hockey, golf, and tennis player, and he sings and plays harmonica in a blues band.
